Friday Morning Men’s Bible Study

November 23rd, 2007 Posted in Event, Men's Study

The Friday Morning Men’s Bible study is an inductive, verse-by-verse, line-by-line book study held at 7:00 a.m. in the youth fellowship hall at First Baptist Church on Park Street. The study was started by Trinity Elder David Balch to equip believers and to be an evangelical outreach to non-believers in our community. The study was held at Trinity for some seven years before moving to First Baptist Church on Park Street this year. More than 60 men from among some 10 different congregations, including Trinity, now attend. It presently is led by Trinity Elder Waugh Crigler, and the men are studying the Book of Genesis.

Each session lasts approximately one hour. The goal is to have 45 minutes of study and then at least 15 minutes of discussion and prayer at each of the tables where men sit. There is no charge to attend the Bible study, though offerings are accepted to support provision of coffee, juice and light snacks, which are made available during the study time.

Contact Persons For Information: Waugh Crigler, 434-971-9848 or John Ray, 434-979-3166.

Weather Policy: No meeting if either Charlottesville City or Albemarle County Public Schools are closed or delayed.
